About Brilliant Esystems

Brilliant Esystems Limited is an indigenous enterprise technology company incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission under RC 1870949. Founded in 2005 and registered under its present name in 2021, the company grew out of work its founder had been doing since his early career maintaining other people’s systems. He was convinced that Nigerian institutions deserved software and infrastructure built by people who understood the conditions those systems actually run in — intermittent power, constrained bandwidth, thin support budgets and procurement rules that leave no room for improvisation. That conviction still shapes how we scope, price and support every engagement.

The company works from a single office: No. 508 BUK Road, opposite the BUK main campus gate and near Hamdan Academy, Kano. We do not maintain branches elsewhere, and we would rather say so than imply a national footprint we do not have. Our delivery teams work to documented quality and information security procedures.

What we can evidence is the delivered work itself, set out system by system under Portfolio: a multi-tenant banking platform serving four CBN-licensed microfinance banks, a revenue platform for Gombe State, the transport registration and collections system for Kano State, the National Health Insurance Authority platform, and a university e-learning estate carrying close to thirty-eight thousand accounts. We do not publish revenue, contract values or aggregate project counts on this site, and we will not attribute a performance figure to a named client without that client’s written consent.

The business operates as two registered Nigerian companies under the same founder. Brilliant Esystems Limited (RC 1870949) is the enterprise technology arm: custom software, systems integration, managed services and the platforms set out under Portfolio. Mannir e-Systems Nigeria Limited (RC 1023637) is the older entity, working in proximity and location technology, beacons and retail engagement, and trading online as mannir.net and BKAN.NG.

We say which is which because it matters for a procurement file. A tender is awarded to a legal entity, not to a group, and the two carry different registration numbers, different histories and different track records. Ask us which company would contract for your work and we will tell you before you start rather than after the award.

The recognition on this site belongs to Mannir e-Systems: the Government Digital Service Presidential Award for Best Startup, presented at eNigeria 2018. The engineering teams, the ICT laboratory in Kano and the founder are shared, which is why the work of both appears here, but the award itself is the older company’s and we attribute it accordingly.
